On the evening before the Swiss national day a spectacular firework display that delights thousands of onlookers every year is set off in the middle of the Rhine. Our guests enjoy this unique display from the front row!
Perfectly equipped with a Les Trois Rois “Wickelfisch”, a watertight bathing sack, you can float gently down the Rhine, past Basel’s old town for around 20 minutes.
In August, Basel's city centre becomes the backdrop for the world's largest one-day jazz event: the idea of two jazz fans has evolved into what is probably the world's largest jazz event in more than 30 years, where - as in the first year - all concerts are free to attend.
