Everyone who strolls through Basel’s charming Old Town in the pre-Christmas period and sees the fairy lights on the houses and the beautifully decorated windows will be captivated by the charm and inspiring character of this city. The enchantment begins with the overture on the Marktplatz (market place) and the festive illumination of the city centre. At the same time, the Christmas lights in the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois will be switched on and all guests and passers-by offered a warming cup of mulled wine.
